Hey, I’m Ludwig. I’m a filmmaker, writer, and multimedia journalist.

My work has appeared in The New York Times, NBC News, New York Magazine, CityLab, Vice, The Nation, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The Face Magazine, and other publications.

I’m interested in and have reported on a lot of topics including housing, homelessness, gentrification, food justice, incarceration, immigration, politics, internet culture, and the Latinx community.

I am the Multimedia Editor at The Nation, where I commission and executive produce podcasts, video series, and photo essays.

I’m a proud member of the National Association for Hispanic Journalists, the Queer Producers Network, and the Video Consortium.

I’m part of DOC NYC’s Storytelling Incubator for 2022.

I’m directing a feature-length film about displacement in Los Angeles and writing a book about gentrification.
